Secretary General

Rohan "near-sighted" Phadnis, is known for his 'spec'tacular speeches during committee and his not-so perfect vision. With his signature Ray Ban prescription that he often attempts to swagger with his friends, he leads the club with a burning passion. Despite his minor setback, the team appreciates him for everything he does. Rohan leads the club with a strong desire for greatness. He is very excited for the year!

Connor "Needs-Ham" Needham

Interior General

Connor "needs-ham" Needham is a senior in Pacific Ridge. Connor is known for everything intellectual and physical. From being a experienced delegate to a determined secretariat that carries the club, Connor's strong presence shows it self daily. Connor also loves playing soccer and running. Connor has made huge contributions to the club and is excited for the year!

Laurence "the flash" Yu

Exterior General

Laurence "the flash" Yu is a senior at Pacific Ridge and has been part of Model UN all four years. Known for his perfect hair and his not-so-perfect diet, he is the club's fastest runner and subsequently the quickest to leave a committee. Laurence is in charge of the external issues of the club: making sure what conferences the club will attend. He has high hopes for his future, as he wants to work in the Department of State.

David "TEXAN" Yu

FirebirdMUN Director

Hailing from Texas (his spiritual homeland), his patriotism and his quadruple dimples are the only evidence that he's from the state where everything is bigger. His elitist character when it comes to music sets him apart from the rest of the team. Due to his unwarranted enthusiasm, the club has experienced several setbacks (confusing the driver with his misdirections). However, from mentoring new delegates to striking it rich in the wild world of penny stocks, David's genius expertise knows no boundaries.

Hendrix "The Broker" Enciso

Treasurer

Money, money, money. Must be funny. In the rich man's world. Hendrix keeps the cash flowing and the club moving. Characterized as "keeping it real", Hendrix is known for everything philosophical, economical, and rizzical. His luscious locks have invoked the envy of many, and we love him for it. From MIT to UCLA, Hendrix has had a lot of fun with everyone and looks forward to his final year in MUN.

Abbie "#ForTheGram" Qiu

Tech Director

Abbie is in her second year of MUN. Known for her not so phenomenal candythrowing capabilities and the raising of her pet turkey, she can be seen taking a selfie during a committee and captioning "Felt cute, might delete later!" in her Instagram story. Being a studious scholar, she spends most of her time at the beach, picking apples, golfing, and boba-drinking, when not diligently preparing for her classes.

Hans "six foot and a inch" Decrop

Advisor

Mr. “six foot and an inch” Decrop is one of the esteemed advisors of the ModelUN club. Mr Decrop is known for hailing from the heartland of Europe, the country of Belgium. Known for his phenomenal extensive scholarly background and his stockpile of students’ dress-coded jackets, Mr. Decrop can be seen ranting about Trader Joes’ uncanny ability to ruin a chocolate bar. The whole team is known to approach him almost too casually with topics about philosophy, history, and French linguistics. His European eccentricity is accompanied by a series of hit-or-miss jokes but always provides a good laugh. A proper Flemish lad, you can be sure to catch Mr. Decrop making exquisite Belgian fries during school events.

Scott "Silky Smooth" Silk

Advisor

Mr. "Silky Smooth" Silk is one of the esteemed advisors of the Model UN club and the Varsity Golf coach. Hailing from Big Blue Michigan, Mr. Silk's mentorship in the school is almost forced to be reckoned with, and his legendary golfing skills have become the stuff of heroic tales. Being a studious scholar, Mr Silk is known for his humanitarian advocacy and dedication to helping communities worldwide as he obtains philosophical and legendary traits that stems from his extensive travels as a teacher and his pursuit of scholarly achievements. Stories of his legendary pasts are often spread within the team, ranging from rescuing students from car crashes to assisting oblivious secretariats in avoiding potential scammers during school trips.
