However, its failure to prevent World War II shows its significant flaws, potentially leading to the very conflicts fought so hard to avoid. In this committee, you will get to make key decisions in the wake of the War to End All Wars. Will it live up to the promise or will you succumb to the same fate as the original League of Nations?

Military Industrial Complex and the World (Specialized)

The military-industrial complex is the dynamic and complex relationship between a nation’s military and powerful defense companies like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Gruman, and General Electric, which design and produce weapons and military equipment. This committee would focus on determining how much power these companies should have over government decisions. Should the pursuit of national security be treated as a commercial venture?

UNODC Increasing Dominance of Synthetic Drugs

The cheap, easy, and fast production of synthetic drugs has radically transformed many illicit drug markets. Criminals producing methamphetamine – the world’s dominant illegally manufactured synthetic drug – are attempting to evade law enforcement and regulatory responses through new synthesis routes, bases of operation, and non-controlled precursors. This committee will focus on addressing the increase of synthetic drugs and how to prevent the spread of them.

A series of three conflicts between Rome and Carthage from 264 to 146 BCE, resulting in the destruction of Carthage and the end of Roman dominance in western mediterranean. This committee will put you in the shoes of Carthgainas and Romans during one of the most fascinating wars in Roman History.

The political dynamics of feudal Japan are exacerbated by the introduction of foreign powers instilling themselves into Japanese soil, and the death of an infamous Daimyo causes various clans to try and fight for control of Japan. This committee will focus on protesting your nation's interests and ensuring that Japan's future is safe.

The War of the Bucket

The war between two Italian city-states in 1325. A century-long feud is blown out of proportion as the Mogdenese stole a bucket from a well on Bologna territory, starting a full-on war. In this committee, you will work to mitigate a war and come to an agreement to return the fabled bucket.

The Wars of the Roses

The War of the Roses was a series of battles in England between two families, the Lancasters and the Yorks, from 1455 to 1487, as they fought for control of the throne. this committee will be a Joint Crisis Committee (JCC) where both the Lancasters and the Yorks will plot and fight in their relentless quest for power and control over the English throne.
